August 14 - "Grandma" and Sadie having some bonding time on the couch - Sadie LOVES when you hold her bone for her to chew on, and many times she'll put her paw on your hand while you hold it - it's adorable!!
August 15 - School folders filled with the first 2 weeks to copy!
August 16 - Chef hats are hung in each of my 6 kitchens of my classroom - I think they're pretty cute!!
August 17 - The Help - Read it in a total of 2 full days and about 2 hours of a "3rd" day. Problem with me reading is that I cannot stop - I must know how it all ends and the anticipation is just too much for me. Which is why I hardly ever read, haha...I end up sitting on the couch for 18 hours in one day just reading...time that I cannot really justify being spent well...and for me that means being productive!! ANYWAYS - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 18 - Beach day with some of my FCS ladies/amazing friends & their kids!!!

August 19 - Tomatoes from our lovely neighbor! There's nothing better than a homegrown tomato!!!
August 20 - Mom and her bottle of wine! It was another great night with my parents!!!
August 21 - Splurged and got us two new gifts - Pampered Chef makes its way into our home and we are happy people!! Jack's especially excited that I surprised him with this amazing chopper! We have 'Taco Tuesday' each week and he isn't the biggest fan of dicing the onion, so now he has fun this way!!!
August 22 - Turtle! My mom got this for us in Hawaii - leave it in the sun all day and then at night it glows!! But I love how pretty it is even without it glowing! (...If you don't know by now, I LOVE turtles!!)
August 23 - Just a simple nature photo I took early this Tuesday morning
August 24 - Pedicures & Gelato are just a few of the fun things that were included in my mom & my traditional back-to-school day!!! LOVED MY DAY WITH MY MOM!!!! xoxo
August 25 - Sadie - this was our last day of summer vacation together. I cried 3 different times that day. We've had such a fun summer hanging out & going on adventures, I'm really going to miss my days with her!! **Also - this is Sadie's favorite blanket - my Aunt Sally knit it for us for a wedding gift, even more special!!
August 26 - Attended the football game with these great friends and then went out after for some food and drinks! Love having such great friends, and just look how cute they are!!!
August 27 - SOLD!! Meet Ellie the Elantra! (Yes, I minor in car-naming!) Turbs will sadly be leaving me - that tribute post will come soon! haha
August 28 - Front of house officially, almost, done!! It's getting there! I say Jack has done a great job!! :) xoxo, way to go hunny!!! (the bricks are the new addition this time)
