And End to July - 365 Photos

As I wrap up July I know that the next post is August and we all know what August means. . . Summer is pretty much over! (At least that's how I feel!) Sad. It truly has been great - July is the only month where there is no school at all out of our summer break, so it's a total "relaxed" month - but it always seems to go by SO FAST!!

We had a fantastic end to July...take a look!! :)

July 24 - Cubs game with Jack's parents. It's kind of turned into a tradition to do the Rooftop Cubs Game with them - money goes towards the Young Adults Ministry, which Rev. Cusick is the Director of. (He's a great friend of the Jack's parents and is Maggie's Godfather.) It's always a great time - great game, free food and drinks, and great company!

July 25 - Happy 2 Year Anniversary!!! Wow - cannot believe it's already been 2 years - does time fly or what?! We went to Flemmings for great steak and our favorite sweet and spicy calamari!

July 26 - Harry Potter!! We are both fans, but Jack is the real fan-atic! No we haven't read the books (if you know us...we aren't much readers (yet)...Jack esp. more than me) but we LOVE the movies!! As you can see, Jack is VERY excited!!

July 27 - For our anniversary we got free cake with our meal and since we were stuffed from the other dessert that already came with our meal (ha) we took this one home and saved it for later. Later was today! Yuuummmmmyyy!!!

July 28 - Sadie got her hair cut!! It was getting pretty shaggy so we finally got in contact with our favorite groomer who had left Sadie's 1st daycare place. She was so nice to invite us into her home for a special grooming and Sadie looks great!! Let me know if you need her number - she's amazing!!

July 29 - Off to Dayton we go for a wedding. This is at The Fieldhouse, which is a bar in Dayton pretty much on campus. It's a total hole-in-the-wall kind of place but they have great deals and free cups haha and great fishbowls! The boys (Jack and his roommates) would frequent The Fieldhouse in college. So, where else to go the night before the wedding with the group?! FIELDHOUSE!!!

July 30 - Chris & Amy's Wedding was today! We (I like to include myself in this because Dayton was kinda like my 2nd college) met Chris and Amy our freshman year - they went to high school with Jack's freshman neighbor Andy (who was in our wedding). Chris & Amy are much like Jack and I...started dating senior year of high school, dated through college and now got married! They had the luxury though of being at the same college. It was a lovely wedding, so much fun being back with all our Dayton friends and being on campus - a time in our lives that we will never forget!!! GO UD!!!
The picture pretty perfectly describes the personalities of Jack & Chris...CRAZY & TOTALLY RANDOM!!

July 31 - We dog-sat Spenser (Jack's parent's dog) while they were in Boston visiting Maggie for a week. He's such a sweet dog, really well behaved, big (a black lab), but holy shedding, haha!! Love him - not his hair! Sadie loved having him around (they bonded so much more while we were in Hawaii) and she LOVES his toys! Spenser has bigger toys than Sadie, which means his toy basket is bigger. Sadie could actually walk in it to get toys out, haha!! Funny girl!!

**I must apologize/rationalize the quality of some of my photos lately. Originally when I started this project of 365 photos I planned to only use my new, awesome quality camera. Well...sometimes it's just really hard to carry it around (it's big!) everywhere and to be able to capture a photo for each day, sometimes a smaller camera is my only option. It's the only way I can truly keep up with this project to meet my goal and to not get weird looks from people like I'm some crazy paparazzi! Hopefully when the fall comes I'll have way more photos with my new camera...I'm excited to see how it captures the fall leaves!! :)
