I still have 3 weeks until school officially starts - I have meetings and getting my room ready mixed in, along with many "back-to-school" lunches & dinners with friends & family! I will be a very, very busy girl these next 3 weeks - makes me wonder how this happened because I had a pretty chillax summer...I shoulda planned better, haha!
Here's Sunday, July 17 through Saturday, July 23rd. ENJOY!!
July 17 - Sadie goes swimming in my parents pool. She wasn't as scared as last year!
July 18 - My new "summer thing" has been making a fruit salad each week and dividing it up into all the containers we own so it's easy for Jack to grab in the morning to take to work & easy for me to just grab & eat at home for a snack during the day!
July 19 - My new bathroom - updated, brighter, much girlier and I'm loving the "glam" feel I get when I'm in it. These mirrors are my favorite...well, that and the sparkly shower curtain! I give many thanks to my hubby for 1.) letting me re-do it and 2.) actually doing all the re-doing!!
July 20 - Salad night!!! Yumm, I just love a good salad!! (I never make them as fabulous as my mom - but I'd like to say I get pretty close!!)
July 21 - Pool day with the Mertin's girls!! By far one of my favorite days this summer!! I am now "Shell Tana" according to Lauren & Mackenzie and I are for sure BFF's!! It was a splash-tastic time!! I'm so thankful for the friendship I have with Jen and the fun times I get to have with her and her adorably sweet & sassy girls!! Much love!!
July 22 - Sadie's school had a Luau Party today! Sadly we didn't get picks with her pink lei on, but instead there's evidence or her chillin' in the pool and checking out the sand. LOVE that look of attitude on her face in the pool...clearly my "child" haha!!
July 23 - My best friend of 22 years (HOLY COW does that make me feel old to type that number!!) just moved into an apartment. She's an interior designer & has done a beyond amazing job with the place! It was so fun to be there for her housewarming party!! We always said when we were younger that we'd have an apt. together and have all "frosty" stuff...haha, we were like 12 okay! Well...I got her some frosty wine glasses because it was just perfectly fitting for the occasion!! LOVE YOU Laura and I'm so happy for you!!!
