Wishing my husband a very, very happy birthday!!
Last year on Jack's birthday we were out in Boston meeting Kailey for the first time - crazy to think that was a year ago!
This year we went to a winery and did a tasting and tour with our family and Jack's best friend Dave and his girlfriend Maria. Wine is a favorite "necessity" in our lives so doing this on Jack's birthday was perfectly fitting. We had been to this particular winery before with our 'wine group' but nobody else who joined us this day had been here before. It was a very fun, tipsy time!
After the tasting and tour we went out for some appetizers and then that evening ate dinner with both of our parents at Kona Grille - very good!! We miss Hawaii sooo much that we were all about going to an Hawaiian cuisine restaurant. To end the night and wonderful day we all came back to our house for ice cream cake (Jack's favorite), some port wine, and a bon fire.
I must say it was a pretty perfect day of celebrating Jack! We are so blessed to have him in our lives! Love you baby!!
