365 Day Photo Challenge

Yep, you read it right - 365 days of photos and it's called a challenge because it's actually pretty hard to 1.) Remember to take a photo each day 2.) Sometimes find time/energy on those long days and 3.) Feeling inspired by something new each day that is picture worthy and one you want to be your chosen photo for the day.

So, I decided I would do this shortly after I got the camera. A lot of people start it January 1st...NY's resolution, start of a new year, that whole bit. Well, I wanted to be different, do it my way...so I decided what better time to start than on my 25th birthday!?! Now I'll get to look back at my quarter of a century year and see each day something fun that inspired me or that I wanted to capture and remember. I'm sure there will be plenty I'll look back on and say..."really?!" or "ha..why?!?" but at the moment, on that day, it was special to me. I'm also enjoying practicing each day with my camera!

Here's what I've got so far...(*Make sure to click on the photos themselves to see more up-close detail)

Happy Birthday!!

I really do love birthday's...especially mine (hehe)!! Like one of my earlier posts said, it's one of the reasons to why I love the month of March so much. The anticipation of it all, waiting until the end of the month to celebrate it all with the people I love.

This year was really great - special thanks to everyone who made this year extra special! Delish treats & gifts from work, yummy German dinner & cute turtle bookends from the in-laws, and a filling Italian dinner with my family filled with pretty & meaningful gifts! All of it was wonderful and it made my day/weekend extra special!!

I'm excited for all the fun and new changes that are going to be starting this year! Cheers to a great quarter of a century and many, many more to come!!

Parents

I like to say a good majority of what I've learned in life has been taught to me by two amazing teachers - my parents. I am truly blessed to have the parents I have and for all the guidance they've given to me from day one. One thing that frequently comes to mind is when I think of getting married to Jack, at what now is considered "young", it makes me think of my parents. They were even younger but ....when you know, why wait more years?! They're now just about at year 40...how inspiring!! :)
I guess the key or main thing I've learned from them and also about them is LOVE. And I sure wouldn't be where I am today and with who I am today if I didn't learn this from them.

It's very common for us to have dinner and wine with my parents whether out or in. These nights are some of my very favorite and one's I will always cherish.
There is so much more to my parents than what I'm actually saying here...but why say it all in one post?! This is just a little intro I guess!

Love for Sadie!
